Balan had returned to the kitchen briefly to grab himself more coffee as she flipped through the movies. When he returned, he sat down next to her. His attention was focused more on the mug in his hands than anything else. It was easier, he realized, to focus on small things that couldn't possibly relate to her at all than to look at her and try to keep his thought clean. In fact, the second one was starting to get impossible, and he had no idea why. Sure, most wolves had an insane libido, but he was usually more apt about keeping his under wraps. As the movie started, he turned his attention to that and almost instantly frowned when a beautiful heroine appeared. Great, he was going to be staring at one great ass and thinking of another.

As the movie progressed, his frown steadily deepened. The sexual tension between the two characters was there from the start, so it was no surprise when they started to take each other's clothes off. When things progressed further, still in plain sight, he felt himself grow aroused, but tried to ignore and deny it. This was not good, not in the slightest.

As he sat down, she was a little saddened to see the coffee mug in his hand, but glad that he was close to her yet again. She grabbed the blanket and pulled it across both of their laps. She nuzzled her body into his side. She was so close he could probably feel her heartbeat against his rib cage. As the movie played on, she started to feel herself growing more aroused than she ever had in this movie before. She rested against him and lightly snuggled her head against his chest. She smelled his scent and her tail whipped from side to side. He was her goal for now. She wanted to make him love her. There was no other male being she had ever met that she wanted more than now.

When she snuggled into his side, he felt it was awkward to keep his arm pinned there so he wrapped it around her shoulders. The action was without thought and came with consequences as he felt himself growing more aroused by her nearness than what was happening on the screen. The feeling of her heartbeat against his chest made his heart thunder hard, though it confused him how something so simple could turn hikm on just as much as anything else. Shaking his head, he stood up abruptly. Trying to keep his tone prime, he informed her, "I said movie. Not porno. Was it really necessary to pick something so crude?" Ah yes, blame her for his own lack of self control. That was certainly a silent blow to his ego.

She was shocked to feel him so close and his arm around her. She was getting closer. She was starting to feel extremely happy. But then it all disappeared. He popped up off the couch and seemed to be disgusted with her. But she wouldn't let it get to her. "It's not a porno. This movie actually has a story," she chuckled as she wrapped her arms around her knees and covered her body with the blanket. "You don't have to watch it if you want, but I'm going to finish it. It seems like a good movie." She sat there and stared at the TV, not really caring what he was doing. She was stubborn for her lucky go happy attitude. If she didn't get what she wanted, she was going to just act like it didn't matter. That was her defense. Her wall to protect her heart.

Realizing that it very well could be a good movie and that he could simple be in a perverted mind set, Balan felt like a fool. Leaning against the wall, he watched her rather than the film, admiring her features as the colorful lights flickered over them. When he realized that he was staring at her, he shook his head and walked out of the room. Realizing that he had to keep her company, he sighed and hid in the kitchen for a moment, this time pouring out the last of his drink. It wasn't cold, but he told himself it was and that was why he threw it out. Returning, he sat down in one of the arm chairs and apologized in an unapologetic tone, "I am sorry. I shouldn't have leaped down your throat over something so trivial." Playing the part of the better person would get him no where, but he didn't mind. It was easier than admitting the real fault, after all.

Rika hadn't really noticed he left. She was too involved in the movie. It was turning out to be a really good one. She held herself as she watched. Although she really wished that he was sitting next to her. "Mhmm... it's alright." she hadn't even turned her head to look at him. Her body ached for his touch, but he wasn't going according to plan. Maybe she would have to step it up.

Balan nodded at her reply and then returned his attention to the movie. His gaze flicked between the show and the girl, not really focusing on either, but trying to stay aware of both. Was the movie still playing? Was she still awake? The two questions were all that he left himself think about. Otherwise, he would start thing of other things and then get in trouble with himself for being rude to her again. It was easier to just be quiet.

Rika watched the movie, looking over at him with her peripherals. He appeared to be watching the movie. She sighed and then she found herself growing tired. The mix of dark room and a comfortable spot made it easy to just slip into a deep sleep. She was continuing to fight the temptation, but it was just too hard. She closed her eyes and fought to open them. She lifter her head to look up at the TV. But soon found herself asleep.

Balan noticed as she started to drift in and out, but assumed that she would wake herself. When he noticed that she wasn't, he stood up and walked over. Crouching down in front of her, he shook her shoulders gently. "Wake up. I thought you said you could stay up through a movie?" he remarked in a slightly teasing tone as he continued to shake her. A slight be rough, he pulled her onto her feet and dragged her by her hand out of the room, hoping to get her mind going so that she would actually wake up.

Rika felt herself being woken up, "what?" She looked into his eyes with a happy grin. But she was still mostly asleep. She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in close to him. She pressed her lips gently on his cheek. "Thank you."

Shaking his head, he brushed her off, but kept a hold of her hand, walking through the house. Looking at her, he frowned and remarked, "I am tired too...and I know just what will wake us up." There was a smile on his face as he led her into the nearest room and then into the attached bathroom. Turning on the water to cold, he shoved the neko in first and then climbed in. As expected, this ice water made his heart start racing almost instantly. Looking at Rika, he asked, "More awake now?"

She walked through the house with him and into the bathroom. She really wasn't all there right now. As she was put into the shower, she felt the cold hit her skin. She gasped loudly, feeling the shock of it all. "Oh... my.... god.... why?" she clung to Balan as he climbed into the shower. She started to shiver from the cold. Her ears pressed hard against her head. Her tail wrapped around her body in attempts to keep her warm. For some reason Balan was warm, despite the cold water. She would not leave his side as long as the water continued to splash her with it's frozen falls.

Balan started laughing, a deep, rolling laugh that vibrated from his chest. The male didn't laugh often, but he loved the cold and the sight of the neko looking half drown and freezing made him laugh. The icy spray didn't bother him, it exhilarated him. In fact, it was easier to deal with him in winter than summer, because he was always in a playful mood then. When he figured that there was no way that the cat was still drowsy, he turned off the water and climbed out. Pulling off his shirt, he grabbed a towel and tossed it to her before grabbing one of his own. Drying his long hair and then starting on his skin, he asked her, "Can you turn completely into a cat?" The thought had just struck him and he couldn't stop himself from asking. He hadn't had much interaction with nekos or inus, so he had no idea.

Her breathing was very short and rapid. When the water was turned off, and Balan had climbed out, she got out as well. When the towel was tossed to her, she removed her clothes. Keeping them on her body would only make her colder. She wrapped the towel around her body and smiled at him. "I am now awake! I guess I needed that!" She was busy drying her legs, bending over as she did so. But his question struck her as awkward. She had never really been asked that question before. She smiled as she nodded her head, "yes, I can change into a full cat. It's actually kinda cool." She went back to drying her skin.

Trying to focus on the cat aspect, rather than the naked, he kept his eyes off of her as he remarked, "Really? What do you look like? Is your fur the same color as your hair or as your ears? Do you have long fur?" His questions had only one goal: prompting her to change. If she was in an animal form then he wouldn't feel the burning attraction that he did. Then it would be a lot easier to deal with her...at least until he got his mind out of the gutter. Bouncing around from the energy that the cold had given him, his eyes slipped over her body once again, admiring the nude curves more than he had before. Her nipples were perky from the chill, making her breasts look even firmer than they were...and he was not going to let himself think about it, damn it.

Rika smiled as he seemed so excited to learn she could change into a feline. Maybe it was that they shared a commonality. That made her giggle. She stood tall and had the towel clenched around her chest. "Do you want to see?" she asked as she smiled at him. She dropped the towel, baring her completely naked body, perky breasts and all. She smiled before closing her eyes. Her breathing slowed to a slow murmur. Slowly her body started to transform into a smaller-than human size, but much furrier. Her onyx black fur was about medium length and her tail grew even bushier than normal. She opened her eyes, displaying a light hazel green color. She sat down on the ground. Her tail flailed around her body. "So what do you think?" she asked.

The offer made him grin, but he quickly hid it and shrugged with indifference. As soon as she took her feline form, his eyes slid over her with rapture. It was easy to imagine him in a more inu for with ears and a tail, his ears perked forward and his tail wagging wildly behind him. With a shake of his head, he shook the image off of himself and returned to his usual cold demeanor. However, there was a stubborn smile on his lips that refused to go away. With a nod of his head, he answered, "Not bad for a cat." Rolling his shoulders, he cracked his neck and then smoothly shifted into his wolf form, black fur blooming across him, a muzzle extending, his bones contracting and breaking, and everything changing. After a blindingly painful minute, there stood a tall, strong wolf where he had been, surrounded by the shreads of his pants. Smirking slightly, the wolf yawned and stretched before teasing, "But wolves still win."

Rika smiled at the now, very handsome wolf before her. She had always had a thing for dogs, but seeing him now was very attractive. She stood up and walked over to his side. She rubbed her body against his side, softly brushing her tail across his nose, giving him her scent. She purred as she walked in a circle around him. "You can think what you like, but cats are much cuter," she said as she walked to the front of him, sitting before him and puffing out her chest with pride.

Balan's nose twitched with interest and he realized that maybe taking his own animal form hadn't been the best idea. Shrugging the thought off, he stuck his tongue out at her and answered, "Please. Dogs are way cuter." Cats are just hotter, he added silently. Seeing her puffed up with pride amused him, so he couldn't stop himself from nudging her in the chest, trying to knock her over. Pawing at her, he told her, "You are even tinier now. I bet I could run around with you on my back with no problems." Dropping into a playbow, he smirked evilly and added, "Or maybe I should carry you around in my mouth like a pup, since you act so immaturely." The edge of his dark personality was always erased when he was in wolf form. No one had ever known why, but it had always been like that. Balan didn't really notice any change in his personality or how he was acting and never had.

Rika laughed at his comment about being carried in his mouth. She held herself stiff as he tried to knock her over. But as soon as he stopped, she gained an attack position of the playful kind. Her tail waved in the air. She pounced on top of him, not knocking him to the ground, but pushing him slightly over. She stood on her hind legs, wrapping her arms around his neck, she started to nibble on his ears. She even licked his cheek once, but soon went back to biting him.

Shaking his head at her attack position, he had half turned away when she pounced on him. With a snarl of surprise, he flipped onto his back, trying to crush her. "Get off me you crazy cat!" he growled. Despite the snarl, he was laughing and as soon as he had shaken her off, he licked her in the face and ran out the open door, ignoring the fact that his wet pelt was going to make a mess on all of the wooden floors. Using his superior knowledge of the layout of the house, he played a game of "keep away" staying as far from her as he possibly could while still letting her get glimpses of him. With his kind, it was usually the other way around, but they were new friends, so it didn't matter.

Rika smiled as he knocked her to the ground. When she stood up, he had dashed off. She loved to play cat and mouse. She chased him around the house, smelling for his scent and giggling as she always got closer and then he ran off again.

Finally, Balan got tired of running. Spinning around, he hid beside a door and when Rika appeared, he pounced on her. With a growl, he started to joking maul her before just lying down. Pinning her like a pup, he started to groom her, knowing that he was messing her fur up more than anything.

Rika went looking for him. Her ears were perked forward while her tail was straight behind her. Finally she found him, by being pounced on. She giggled as he pinned her to the floor. When he started to groom her, she liked it, up until she realized he was messing up her fur. "Hey stop!" When he refused to stop she started to lick him back, sometimes her tongue would touch his.

Balan laughed and released her after a few minutes. Rolling onto his back, he shifted into his human form and stretched out. For a few more minutes, his good mood would remain and it was obvious, because he couldn't stop grinning. It was like he had some great secret that he couldn't tell a single soul. Looking over at Rika, he teased her, "What a pretty kitty."
